• • Renter must be at least 21 years of age. Email or text a copy of renter’s photo ID to Info@1702Events.com or 251-257-6366 within 48 hours of booking.

  • Payment is due in Full at the time of booking.

  • Do not park in designated loft resident parking spaces. Please make your guests aware

  • dj’s or bands ARE NOT ALLOWED. Music must be at reasonable sounds levels during the scheduled event. 

  • Set up and pack up time is included in the reserved time. Exceeded reservation time could result in a $150 fee.

  • Catering and Bartending set up/pack up time is to be included in the event rental time. .

  • prior to departure all decorations, serving items, leftover food and beverage debris must be removed and/or trashed with trash bags tied and placed in the 1702 Events trash canister outside the back door. overflow trash bags must be taken to the dumpster in the rear parking lot.

  • CHILDREN MUST BE ATTENDED TO AT ALL TIMES. NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO STAND OR WALK ON THE FURNITURE.

  • If an event ends earlier than expected, unused reserved time is non-refundable. If cleanup is purchased, the cleaning fee is non-refundable if renter decides to perform cleanup at the conclusion of the event.

  • Full refund will be issued if event is cancelled 3+ weeks in advance. Half refund if cancelled 2+ weeks in advance. No refund if cancelled 1+ week or less in advance.

  • No Smoking, vaping, chewing tobacco, illegal drug use or weapons of any kind allowed.  Violations will result in a $250 fee.

  • ALL DECORATIONS MUST BE FREE STANDING. No tape of any kind, screws, penetrating items, nails, glue or gummed material used on walls or wall decor. No hanging of decorations from the ceiling. No use of glitter, confetti, balloons that contain confetti, colored powder, water fountain features, smoke or fog machines inside of the space or anywhere outside on the property, Violations will result in a $150 fee

  • Renter is responsible for any sustained furniture damage, floor (paint) damage due to sliding tables across the floor, wall or decor damage and/or missing items belonging to 1702 Events.

  • Food serving tables located in the front of the space can be rearranged to your desired liking by 1702 Events prior to your event start time. Bar stools and chairs can be rearranged as desired during your event. No other furniture can be moved, removed or rearranged.

  • Security cameras are in use.

  • No open flames that create smoke (this could set off the sprinkler system) other than BUTANE CANISTERS FOR CHAFING DISHES.

  • No liquor license is required if alcohol is provided to guests at no charge.

  • To have a cash bar or charge a door cover if alcohol is being served consult with your caterer or bartending service to ensure state liquor regulations are adhered to.

  • 1702 Events, LLC is not liable for alcohol related incidents after renter or renter’s guest(s) depart the scheduled event.

  • No one under the age of 21 is allowed to consume alcohol

  • 1702 Events reserves the right to cancel a reservation with full refund at 1702 Events discretion or cease an event in progress with no refund at its sole discretion if 1702 Events policies are not being adhered to.

  • 1702 Events reserves the right of refusal to rent to any individual, group or organization at its discretion.

  • Rental time for Photography sessions shall not consist of nudity or pornographic content.

  • Renter agrees to comply with all applicable laws & ordinances & shall conduct no illegal acts on the premises.

  • Waiver and Release of Liability: Renter agrees to indemnify, defend and hold 1702 Events, LLC, its Landlord, leasee, building owner(s), engineer, officers, employees, and agents harmless of and from any liabilities, damages, injuries, death, costs, penalties, or expenses arising out of and/or resulting from the rental and use of the premises, including but not limited to the personal guarantee of provision, service, and dispensing of payment by client, its employees, and agents of alcoholic beverages at 1702 Events, LLC.  Attorney fees: In the event 1702 Events, LLC retains the services of an attorney to represent its interests in regard to the lease or to bring an action for the recovery of damages or other charges, the Renter agrees to pay a reasonable attorney fee of not less than $500.00 or 20% of the sum sued for, whichever is greater, plus the cost of any legal action.
