Renter must be at least 21 years of age. Email or text a copy of renter’s photo ID to Info@1702Events.com or 251-257-6366 within 48 hours of booking.
payment is due in Full at the time of booking.
Event space close time of 9:00pm is strictly enforced unless prior approval received by 1702 events for a 30-minute extension to 9:30PM for cleanup.
do not park in designated loft resident parking spaces. please make your guests aware.
Set up and clean up time is included in the reserved time. Exceeded reservation time without prior approval from 1702 events and/or if cleanup is not performed if not purchased, renter is subject to a $150 fee.
Cleanup (if cleaning fee not purchased): cleaning supplies are supplied by 1702 events. clean up consists of sweeping or vacuuming of floors, all decorations removed, All Tables and bar wiped down, trash bags tied and placed in the 1702 events trash canister outside the back door, bathrooms tidy (no urine or feces in toilets) and all chairs/tables in their original positions.
no trash is to be put in neighboring business outdoor canisters which are for their linen service only. any overflow trash that doesn’t fit in the 1702 events trash canister must be taken to the dumpsters in the right hand corner of the rear parking lot.
if an event ends earlier than expected, unused reserved time is non-refundable. If cleanup is purchased, the cleaning fee is non-refundable if renter decides to perform cleanup at the conclusion of the event.
Full refund will be issued if event is cancelled 3+ weeks in advance. half refund if cancelled 2+ weeks in advance. No refund if cancelled 1+ week or less in advance.
No Smoking, vaping, chewing tobacco, illegal drug use or weapons of any kind allowed. Violations will result in a $250 fee.
No nails, screws, penetrating items, tape, glue or gummed material used on walls or wall decor. No hanging of decorations from the ceiling. No use of glitter, confetti, balloons that contain confetti, colored powder, water fountain features, smoke or fog machines.
Renter is responsible for any sustained furniture damage and/or wall damage and/or missing items belonging to 1702 Events.
Security cameras are in use.
No open flames that create smoke (this could set off the sprinkler system) or cooking other than tray warmers and/or microwave.
no liquor license is required if alcohol is provided to guests at no charge.
to have a cash bar or charge a door cover if alcohol is being served consult with your caterer or bartending service to ensure state liquor regulations are adhered to.
1702 events, LLC is not liable for alcohol related incidents after renter or renter’s guest(s) depart the scheduled event.
no one under the age of 21 is allowed to consume alcohol
Events with 60 or more guests that begin 6:00pm or later, or extend past 7:00pm from an earlier start time, and alcohol is being served, the renter is to provide a certified security officer starting no later than 6:00pm. see rates page if security guard services are needed.
1702 Events reserves the right to cancel a reservation with full refund at 1702 Events discretion or cease an event in progress with no refund at its sole discretion if 1702 policies are not being adhered to.
1702 Events reserves the right of refusal to rent to any individual, group or organization at its discretion.
rental time for Photography sessions shall not consist of nudity or pornographic content
Renter agrees to comply with all applicable laws & ordinances & shall conduct no illegal acts on the premises.
Waiver and Release of Liability: Renter agrees to indemnify, defend and hold 1702 Events, LLC, its Landlord, leasee, building owner(s), engineer, officers, employees, and agents harmless of and from any liabilities, damages, injuries, death, costs, penalties, or expenses arising out of and/or resulting from the rental and use of the premises, including but not limited to the personal guarantee of provision, service, and dispensing of payment by client, its employees, and agents of alcoholic beverages at 1702 Events, LLC. Attorney fees: In the event 1702 Events, LLC retains the services of an attorney to represent its interests in regard to the lease or to bring an action for the recovery of damages or other charges, the Renter agrees to pay a reasonable attorney fee of not less than $500.00 or 20% of the sum sued for, whichever is greater, plus the cost of any legal action.
